Her Captivating Fate

When I was a kid, I only knew 2 things:

Santa was my fairy godmother (with a big belly),

and

Christmas was a time of money and toys.

I grew up in a family where we celebrate Noche Buena,

get angbaos, open gifts,

showing off our new clothes and go to church,

just because it’s tradition.

Of course I knew the story that Jesus was born.

That we commemorate his birth.

(aren’t the kids too cute!!! :D)

But that’s just it,

I never really knew the essence of why we celebrate CHRISTmas…

I was more excited on what’s inside Santa’s stocking,

or what’s underneath our Christmas tree…

As a kid, I wasn’t informed properly.

As an adult,

I somehow loved the worldly things,

instead of knowing the meaning of CHRISTmas.

But, as it’s been said,

Christ will find a way to your heart…

So I’d really like to take this moment,

to share with you…

The real meaning of this season.

The real meaning of CHRISTmas 🙂

I pray that everyday,
we celebrate as if it’s Christmas day…

Forgive people who have done you wrong;
Love one another as Christ loves you.

Remember,
Jesus paid the sacrifice PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE.
