A diary of an imperfect woman loved by a perfect GOD.
My Singaporean Birthday – LA!
My 32nd Birthday is the cherry on top of the cake in my entire life.
Experiencing the goodness of my Lord Jesus Christ.
Before I continue, I’d also like to share with you my birthday celebration with my loved ones sans my family due to their busyness we still haven’t had time to celebrate my birthday… ๐๐๐
#CakesByMiriam — so good!!! Thanks to my bestestfriends Florence and Kriscia! Top: Zooshop
What more could I wish for? ๐
Well, tbh, I wish that this year I would gladly meet my God’s best.
I’m telling you this, because I’m claiming it in Jesus name. ๐
I’m overwhelmed and speechless how this year turns out to be. Sometimes, you certainly need to embrace every season you’re in, despite and in spite of the circumstances.
(I actually haven’t been there nor tried their food but I look up to Our Awesome Planet‘s review… And certainly it’s a very good place to chill and eat up!)
Too bad wasn’t able to take pictures of the food! My guests were all pleased!
Thank you, Perfect Pint! ๐
I wanted a small intimate celebration since I’m leaving for my birthday week…
ย These are the people who made my celebration an extraordinary one!
I thank God for my 32 years of existence He gave me these people to grow old with. ๐๐๐
Baby girl Kassidy helping me to open gifts! Tee-hee.
Haha, yes I get to sing my fave Karaoke songs with someone stringing the guitar.
So, at first, the only person I told about my SG trip was my shobe, she was the one who actually encouraged me to take a solo trip. Thus, it’s one of my bucket list since college days. I certainly believe it was also God’s will for me, His provision, His grace and His big YES were my astounding hope. Truth to tell, I was scared to travel alone with everything that is happening to the world. When my mother found out few months before I leave, she wanted to join me, I was like — ๐๐๐… Good thing though, she had to renew her passport on the day of my birthday. LOL. (Trivia: I was the only one in my family who hasn’t been to SG! Where was I?! ๐)
ย
Here is a short video of my trip… And will share some pictures as well…
I stayed at Pan Pacific Singapore at Raffles Boulevard and was blessed by an upgrade!
(I was thinking of backpacking but… how do you guys do that though?
I am open for learning ๐๐๐)
ย I wasn’t expecting a KING size bed since I’m alone. ๐๐๐
ย I LITERALLY WANT THIS KIND OF SHOWER ROOM.
It has 3 kinds of shower faucet. Couldn’t get enough of it! HA!
Balcony view ๐๐๐

ย And surprising me with this yummy birthday ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฐ… I feel so loved!
First stop, lunch with Ren (who helped me with my accommodation)…
Thank you, Ren as well as my bff Florence!!! We didn’t have a photo together. Too bad.
ย I requested a good seat though, haha. I didn’t realized the sous chef is gwapo.
ย Wine. Oh Wine. ๐ (If there’s any man who loves Jesus and
drink a glass of red wine and no not an alcoholic ๐, I’d marry him!)
ย Burnt Ends Sanger — GAH. Best brioche burger ever!!!
ย They gave this for free though, Pickled Back as they call.
Whisky + Pickle shot
Before eating the Sanger, bottoms up! Good one, though.
ย And since I’m alone, I couldn’t order as much as I can.
I decided on this one…
Flank, Burnt Onion, Bone Marrow.
Is there even a word to describe this?
Sumptuous dinner, indeed.
ย (L-R) Sheena’s a Filipina who was so accommodating and helped me with what to order, sous chef Kierin, so gwapo. He was also nice enough to take some time and handed a shot with me and his team because it was my birthday! ๐ทSorry ladies, I heard he’s married. And the last photo, I never really expected a birthday cake from the team! ๐๐๐ thank you, Burnt Ends!
An old friend Amalia messaged me and asked if we could meet up,
and she was just in the area as well…
We went to Marina Bay Sands, had some champagne!
Cheers to us at C’est La Vie, Marina Bay Sands ๐ท๐๐ท
Thank you, Amalia for the treat and for your time!
Had fun hearing your travel stories!
My last day in SG was an epitome of patience, laughter and prayer! ๐
For lunchtime, I met up with an old friend Dorothy
over a quick lunch since she still has to go back to work.
Forever chikabels with this one ๐ and yes, I plan to take your advice…
Australia on to my next trip, heh? โ
After meet-up, I visited National Museum of Singapore.
…This photo says it all.
An innocent child wanting to learn more of her culture. ๐
Such a rich culture!
ย Video below is one of the many things I am in awe at the Museum
From Museum to Orchard… It wasn’t really on my itinerary.
As you can see, I am abstaining from shopping
But with what happened… #nocomment. ๐๐๐
Takashimaya to Ion Orchard.
My feet were aching badly. As in badly!!! ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
ย From Orchard back to Raffles Blvd to One Fullerton because of this!!! Lady M!!! ๐๐๐
Singature Mille Crรชpe!!! To-die-for.
The famous Marina Bay Sands.
The Merlion
So after a quick dessert and coffee, I headed to Gardens by the Bay.
This was the last one on my Itinerary and I couldn’t leave w/o visiting.
[…] of the food wise, my first time in a hawker place because I didn’t go to one when I was in Singapore (I know!!! Checkout my post on that one.)ย Anyway, sharing you some photos and of course, […]
